Little Miss Blue Eyes (and goals for 2013)...

Originally when I started this blog a little over a year ago, I thought it would simply be DIY projects and a way to share my love for all things colorful. However, now that it's a new year...I guess it's a good excuse to start makin' a few changes around here which includes packing up our bags and moving into our new home!!! Complete with a backyard...oh I can hear the angels singing! haha. And, as far as Color Issue goes, I will be making a few changes within the next few weeks that I really am super excited about!

Speaking of 2013 goals...do you have any set yet? My goals for this year include:

1. Read Les Miserables (The movie I LOVED LOVED...but I heard the book--obviously with over a 1000 pages--goes into way more depth as far as the characters and overall storyline. So here I am committing to reading this monster of a novel--I figured a year would be enough time?!? ha)

2. Be a better mother and wife (I mean there's always room for improvement hehe)

3. Train with the hubs for a mini iron man (ok this might me a little over zealous but hey why not?!)

4. Get my Honor Bee (you're never to old, that's what I say!)

5. Continue taking a ridiculous amount of pictures of my girls...because, well, I can. (this includes completing and printing my first instagram book!)

6. Post more about my colorful finds and my little family as we transition into a new place!

So there ya have it. Not to crazy right? I feel like these goals are pretty doable. And just for kicks, here are a few photos of my little baby Cozy. Her blue eyes melt me.

  1. Its a little baby burrito! :) What a wonderful name. Was that inspired by Les Mis?

(And, just a tip, when I read the book I skip the multi-chapter monologues about stuff like the sewers of Paris, and flip forward to the story. #noshame)

  2. What a gorgeous little girl with a gorgeous name. And good luck on Les Mis! I read an abridged version in high school, but now I kind of want to read the real deal.

  11. Les Mis is my dad's favorite book - I can't even tell you how many times he's read it, and he probably couldn't either! Maybe that should be a challenge of mine this year as well, he would be so proud! If you do start reading, post updates that will motivate me to join!!
