Ahoy It's A Boy...a shower for Sandra

Since I am a mother of two little princesses...helping with a boy shower was something new. Luckily, my two friends Whitney (the genius behind all the decor) and Carli (the wonderful connoisseur) helped make this shower a beautiful and delicious afternoon. The weather really couldn't have been any more perfect and of course it was nice to just sit and chat (its what us girls do best right?!)

The theme was "Ahoy it's a Boy" so naturally there were a lot of nautical touches here and there. Whitney did such a great job! I love all the boats and the blues and reds. 

What was on the menu you ask!? Well a whole lot of great food including sourdough rolls, homemade tomato cream soup...salads galore and a lemon tart that would have knocked anyones socks off. Oh, and lets not even talk about the salted caramel chocolate chip cookie bars (there's a mouthful for ya ha)...they were heaven sent. 

All in all I'd say it was a massive success. Full of chocolate filled diapers (a game that's always a fave) and laffy taffy party favors! Congrats again Sandra...he'll be here before you know it!!! xoxo
