When I saw this little color-picker-pen contraption I was in awe stricken love! A korean designer jinsu park designed a concept pen that enables colors in the environment to be scanned and instantly used for drawing. Uh, simply amazing I tell ya! Imagine how convenient...no more having to take around crayons and colored pencils for your kids! ha. Crazy world we live in, sheesh! :-)

Nobody noticed this concept has RGB ink ?!
ReplyDeleteRGB is how light is composed (red green blue) NOT how you make ink!
It would require CMYK (Cyan Magenta Yellow and blacK) to make a colour that approaches the measured color (RGB has more colours han you can make with CMYK)
Sorry to dissapoint you, this simply does not work that way.

ReplyDeleteThis is a scam, do not try to buy it. It will not work. This is just photo shopped, not a real product. Here it how you can tell its fake: The ink jets are setup wrong, they need to mix ink before dispensing. This would just give 3 different colour lines. The colours are wrong, you cant use rgb as primary colours for ink. The images are photoshoped, look closely and you will see the shadows are lop sided etc etc etc
