Rumor Has It...

That the colors on bread tabs indicate how fresh your bread is! Who would have thought? Just an interesting colorful fact that I had absolutely no idea about  until just a few days ago. I was perusing the bread isle when I overheard someone mentioning to get the red one instead of the green one...so I decided to be nosey and ask why. So thank you random stranger for helping me choose a fresher loaf (I looked it up and according to snopes.com she aint lyin')

    1. I'm not sure Lindsay, Im assuming the tabs are simply when the bread got to the store not when it was actually made?! But I could be totally out in left field on that one.
