A Day at the New Children's Museum

If you are ever in the San Diego area, you should definitely head on over and check out The New Childrens Museum...yesterday the girls and I met up with our friends Sandee and little Sophie and checked out the new exhibits. Sage (my little artist in the making) was in heaven! There was painting, drawing, stacking blocks, coloring on walls of huge cardboard houses, a bubble station, colorful mazes...and...well you get my drift. Lots and lots to do for these little ones.

All of the exhibits in the museum were created using recycled material. It's amazing what you can do with old cartons, cardboard and garbage. I think we'll be visiting this colorful museum again for sure!

below: Oh this was great to watch...
it was like they loved painting but hated when paint got on their hands

  2. Looks fun. Once upon a time I was a San Diego resident. Alas, I'm across the country now. I'll add this to my list of things to do when we finally get back "home".
