I have this weakness for smelly things (mostly lotions, perfumes and soaps) and Lush is a soap heaven!
My favorites were the face soaps (made with crushed almonds and oatmeal!?) and this bubblebar called "sunnyside up", it looked like a bar of gold diamonds! You simply break a small piece off, and put it in your bath and it turns your water into this sparkly sea of gold and glitter! AMAZING!
They have the cutest things for Valentines Day too! Oh I think I just might have found my new favorite store...my little Sagey girl loved it too (she was having a hay-day sniffing all of them, it was hilarious)
I worked for Lush for a while. Such an amazing company and I loved going home everyday smelling amazinggggg!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love Lush! Every time I go into one of the stores, it's like a sensory overload....the smells and colors are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of Lush until recently -- I'll have to see if there's one around me. Great pictures, as always! And make sure you buy that red lipstick and make a blog post about it :)
ReplyDeleteI need to go there!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, love all of the shimmery looks! xo
ReplyDeleteI have been a BIG Lush fan for ages(like 15 years!!)I took their shampoo bars with me when travelling in Australia in 1998/99 (what a great idea - no spills, great hair, great smell). I am also known for my ability to sniff out a Lush shop in pretty much any new place I visit. Very helpful in Oz when running low & at a time when the stores weren't quite as numerous as now.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Lush! I'm a recent convert and I can't get enough. My current favorite is the hair mask treatments and I just started using the Karma perfume stick. Their website is great, too!
ReplyDeleteI worked at lush for several years and totally fell in lurve with their skincare. Angels on Bareskin is the bomb! Ooh, and their fresh facemasks (in the fridge) are amazing-make sure to try one out next time your in the shop! You won't be disappointed.
ReplyDeleteLush is one of my favorites too!! Is there one in SD? Please tell me where so I can go asap!
ReplyDeleteya there is one right in fashion valley! Just opened up!
DeleteLove, love, lush. We have a few in Ottawa and they always make me happy :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I've never been to LUSH before. I'll be sure to pop in next time I see one.

ReplyDeletei love lush! their massage bars are like heaven :)
ReplyDeleteOH, I LOVE LUSH!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYep, soap heaven!
These soaps are just AH... Just heaven!
p.s. - Cosmetic products are great, too. And I love their Eau Roma Water!
I was always curious about Lush until I finally found a store. My eyes started watering as soon as I walked in and the nice lady wanted to demonstrate a bunch of stuff on my arms. They were itchy and irritated for the rest of the day.
ReplyDeleteAlso, are they supposed to be all natural and healthy hippie etc? Because the first product I clicked on on the site definitely had sodium laureth sulfate, which I am trying to avoid.
oh my. I am sorry to hear that Anne, perhaps you should email LUSH and ask them about their natural ingredients?! There is nothing worse then feeling itchy and uncomfortable. Hopefully not many others have had this same experience?! ;-/
DeleteI'm with you. I was so excited to go to Lush, but once I got in the store, I found most of their products have parabens and other nasty ingredients. How can they bill themselves as "natural" when they use stuff like that??? And if you look on their website, they try to play down the bad ingredients, calling parabens and other things "safe." Um, they're not safe. Check the cosmetic safety database (http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/) for real, honest information.
DeleteI think I would spend all day there! So cute!
ReplyDeleteI wish it was edible, because if it were, I would eat EVERYTHING.

I work at Lush in Norway, so it's fun for me to see pictures from other Lush shops in the world! Where is this shop located? Lush is amazing; the products, the concept.. everything!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of lush! Looks like such a fun store! Off to check out the website... :)
