Flower Fairies...

June is probably one of my favorite months..."it's not too hot, not too cold; all you need is a light jacket" (oh please someone name that movie!) Right now all the flowers in our yard are in full bloom...

So, yesterday we decided to take advantage of all the colors, and make a little something I like to call "flower fairies". It was a big hit!

This little craft is super versatile. You can draw anything you'd like...trucks, princesses, dinosaurs, etc. (fairies just seemed to be the popular vote around these parts with all girls). You'll be amazed at what their little imaginations can think of with a little glue and a touch of nature!

apparently, a "drop of glue" meant half the bottle :-)

 While we waited for them to dry...I decided to snap a few pics of my lovies (ya know, since I can never pass up a good photo shoot when the lighting is close to perfect)
