At least our colors matched...

Yes oh yes, it's that time of year when you imagine your family photo session to go as smooth as pie. Right?! Well my cute baby girlies had different plans. After about 25 minutes of trying ever tactic in the book to get them (namely miss 2 year old Sagey) to cooperate we called it good in hopes we got at least ONE shot that was decent?!

To top it off it was about 90 degrees outside (seriously, is it really almost December?!) and the outfits I picked out were, well lets just say...NOT 90 degree weather friendly. Poor Josh was sweating bullets by the end of our quick photo session.

There were a couple that turned out okay but for the most part...well you get the idea. I suppose you just have to pick your battles right?!

Happy Happy Holidays my dear friends...Christmas will be here before we know it!!!

  2. Haha! Sounds about right. Our "photo shoot" lasted a whole 7 minutes. At least we got one decent shot worthy of a card! Oh parenthood. It's a trip!

  3. You have the most beautiful family! I am a photographer and know how hard it is to capture when a family is uncomfortable or there are wiggly kids. I think these came out great!

  4. Story of my life! But they look great:) The first time we took pictures my two year old hit the photographers lense with a giant stick! I was dying. The sad thing is the pictures turned out great except for the sheer frustration shown all over my face! You guys look adorable!

  7. Adorable family! These pictures are fun even though they're not "perfect." I find my daughter's attention span for pictures is about five or ten minutes.

  8. Most of you look happy... one does not.

Lovely photos though and you have the memory of the event as well.

  9. We took family pictures over Thanksgiving with the whole extended family. Then we tried again earlier this week to do our family pictures. Big FAIL. It's so hard to get a 21 month old to look into the camera. But like you said, at least we all matched!

  13. Love the Drool! My favorite pictures are these kind. I have one of Keleni throwing sand at all the other kids and them crying...it's one of my favorites because it captures each of their personalities.
