the city of Love

So...Josh and I are planning a trip to go out and venture the wonderful world of Europe in a few short months and I am SO EXCITED! Ever since we got married we have been wanting to go back there. So now that that time is so close at hand, it almost seems surreal! Oh I just can't wait!

So, in honor of Italy I thought I'd share some "things that make my eyes sing" with an Italian twist,  because I just can't get it off my mind! :-)

1. What I'd give to ride the streets of Rome on one of these
2. Lemoncello recipe (from Amalfi)--I just simply love the color thats all ha
3. Can I please be HERE...like right now?!?!
4. Italian etiquette...that pizza looks divine
5. The colors of Venice
6. Campanile di Curon (didn't even know this existed until today)
7. Holiday markets...the Italian style
8. My future summer home (a girl can wish)
9. My sister in Rome, just livin' the dream :-)

Hope you all have such a great weekend...I have a lot of fun posts in store for next week that I'm super excited about!!! See you soon!!!

***p.s. I have no idea who the artist of this painting is...I simply stumbled upon it. There was no other information; so if any of you know PLEASE don't hesitate to leave a comment!

  1. Yay for Italy! Don't forget to visit gorgeous Sicily, where my little family and I live. I'm biased, but it's a lovely corner of the globe!

  7. If you are going to Tuscany I would reccommend a day trip (or overnight) to Cinque Terre. We're going to be spending some of our honeymoon there - its one of the most beautiful places we've ever seen!

  14. The artist is Leonid Afremov. His work is great. His use of color and the technique he uses to put color on the canvas is gorgeous.

  15. Italy is beautiful! I've been there 2 years ago and I LOVED every singe bit of my trip :) I hope time flies for you! Hopefully I'll be trading Europe for America in a few short months too! I still have to wait until March to see if we can make this trip happen.

PS: I think it's funny how a lot of Europeans (like me) fall in love with America, and how a lot of Americans (like you) fall in love ith Europe!

    XO Nikki
