A painter from Washington, Tyree Callahan , took a 1937 typewriter and drastically modified it. He replaced the keys and letter with colors and hues to create this very functional "painting" device known as the Chromatic Typewriter. Isn't this genius? I think so indeed!
Oh the world of color is endless I tell ya!
Oh and Happy October my friends! I wish so bad that it was cold down in my neck of the woods. You know, that feeling where the crisp air and bright orange and yellow leaves gets you excited to pull out your boots and sweaters while sipping on hot apple cider. Instead we've got 90 degree weather, and it doesn't look like I'll be pulling my fall wardrobe out any time soon :-(.
However, even if it doesn't feel to 'fallish' around here...it wont stop me from sharing some fun Fall DIY projects. I'll be posting them soon and I'm super duper excited! :-)
oh my gosh! this is great!
ReplyDeleteThat is the coolest thing ever. I want one. Like NOW! :)

Oh, MY GOODNESS. I want one of these. HOW COOL!
ReplyDeleteI used to have a typewriter when I was little and I'm always a bit nostalgic when I see one. Maybe it's time to buy a new one, for "grown-ups". :-)
