I'm talkin' about zucchini my friends! This last weekend we went up to my parents and my dad gave me a few of his nice, juicy zucchini's he grew in his garden. Is there anything better than fresh produce? I feel like the colors are brighter and the taste is just better (but maybe it's just in my mind, but I think not?!) I promise this isn't becoming a food blog, but with me being pregnant and with it being grilling season--how can I not think about food?! ha. And really, what is more vibrant and colorful than fresh veggies?!
***or you can always just do as my little S did...hug, hold, and kiss it?!***
MMMMMM!!! Zucchini is one of my favorite things about summer!
ReplyDeleteI love zucchini! And the pictures of the little girl are sooo cute!! :)
ReplyDeleteI remember the summer before entering college, we had a few Zucchini plants and they went wild. I'm pretty sure we had Zucchini for almost every meal of the day, we had pancakes with them in it, pasta with them, bread, you name it we had it. The first dinner in the dinning hall had zucchini. The Zucchini kept following me!
ReplyDeletehaha that is to funny...I guess I could imagine worse things followin' ya?! ;-)
DeleteI experimented with breaded baked zucchini over the weekend. Turned out yummy but I have some tweaks to make. I love how it sweats when you cut into it. Fun!
