Yellow Sapphire Ring Giveaway...from Simple Daisy

Can I just tell you how much I LOVE this ring by Simple Daisy!?! For one, because it's gorgeous (hand crafted with a bright yellow sapphire--details here--sold for $144) and secondly, because of the sweet message it has on the inside!  When I was a little girl (here I go...getting all nostalgic on ya) my mom always sang the lullaby "you are my sunshine" to me; and now I sing it to my little baby girl. Ona Bag Giveaway WINNER!

Okay...so I had the hardest time trying to figure out how to choose a winner for the Ona Bag giveaway. I normally use random.org but there were so many entries that I just didn't think counting through all of them would be the best way. I forget where I ended off, I lose my count...plus this was a HUGE giveaway. I wanted it to be done in a GREAT way.

So I copied and printed off ALL 541 entries (almost 30 pages worth!!!!)...I then took out all the double and triple entries (b/c that wouldn't be fair) and cut them into strips. Then I put them into a box...and let the "real queen of the house" choose a lucky winner!

And she did. And I think that lucky winner will be very happy!!! :-)

Toms giveaway update...

Do you remember THIS giveaway...a real CUSTOM pair of Toms?! Oh it was probably one of my favorite giveaways on Color Issue so far! Well, I got an email from Ben (the artist) who sweetly sent me a photo of the finished product! So I emailed Grace (the winner) and asked her to send a pic of her wearing them...cuz I'm weird like that ha! Sure enough, she did! And it just made me so happy! So I thought I'd share them with you!

Grace gave Ben some ideas, and Ben created her dream Toms :-)...so cute huh!?!
